You don't know who sent them, you just know they are so aggresive.

Use your weapons to get rid of them, before they get rid of your life or the generator one.

Survive as many waves as you can and protect yourself, because the Cyberebels will become stronger with each wave survived. If you clear 100 waves, you will save the last Life Generator.
